Pond Drowning

In this animation we show the conditions that led to a drowning at a local pond. Using bathymetry data, aerial photography, and eye witness accounts, WIN was able to visualize the scene years after it occurred.

The animation shown here is the stitched together presentation originally created for presentation on a PC
-
Blood Spatter
Animation highlighting the location of blood spatter at a crime scene. -
Process Infographic

This process infographic was created to show the steps involved when develop a new product offering. The intended goal was to demonstrate the length of time required.
This animation is part of a series of graphics used at trial.
-
Industrial Saw Components

As part of a settlement video we needed to explain the parts of an industrial saw. Working from photos and some very old product manuals we were able to create this 3D model that featured heavily in the presentation
-
Modeling with Point Cloud Data
This 3D scene recreation was built using point cloud data from a FARO scan provided by the client. This scan data, while incredibly detailed, contained many details not relevant to the case. WIN simplified the data to create a highly accurate simplified model of the scene. -
Cast Shadow Analysis

Our client needed to know the dimensions of an awning that had collapsed causing injury. The debris had already been removed leaving nothing to measure. Luckily we were able to perform cast-shadow analysis using previously taken photography to accurately model the components in 3D.
-
Big Rig Collision

In this animation we have reconstructed the moments leading up to an 18 wheeler colliding with a passenger vehicle.
-
Intrathecal Contrast Injection
In this case a patient was injected with an improper type of dye for spinal imaging. The container's label clearly states that it is not for intrathecal use. We call out the injection site, labeling, and dye path to the brain. -
Bucket Truck Visibility

In this animation we recreated the scene of an accident involving a bucket truck working on traffic signals. The modeling shows how far both in distance and in time the truck was visible to oncoming traffic.
-
Heart Catheterization

Demonstrating the locations of occlusions that were visible during a heart catheritization procedure

Jail Cell
When a place no longer exists, it is a good idea to recreate the location using 3D modeling and animation. Here we were able to capture video footage directly from the surveillance video camera system to show precisely the views capable of having been seen in the Police Station Control Room -
Interactive 3D Heart
This presentation was created to examine the damage done by a bullet as it penetrated several vessels in the heart. We were able to show the extent of the damage and cast doubt on how far the victim was said to have run after this specific shot was fired. The 3D model is able to be rotated and zoomed into in real-time. Portions can be removed and the bullet trajectory turned on and off. -
Scaffold Collapse
Understanding the unique details of the collapse of a crane reuires a 3D presentation -
Interactive 3D Scene
This project is recreating the scene of a homicide in 3D. The user can progress through stages, zoom in/out, and call up photography from the scene. -
Interactive Homicide Presentation
This presentation combines a 3D model of the school combined with security camera video of the suspect. We are able to watch as the suspect moves between rooms, changes clothes, and can clearly follow his path and track the actions he takes over time. The presentation is fully interactive, users can move through the building and revisit events at any time. -
Product Design Evolution
This presentation shows the evolution of a product over a decade showing at each year which parts are altered, added, or removed. -
